Tutukaka, situated strategically next to NZ's premier dive location, the Poor Knight Island's, in Northland NZ, is largely responsible for the sinking of the frigate Wellington's sister ship, the Waikato, now attracting 1000's of divers annually. They provided unfettered access to their project, contributing valuable technical resource for Project Wellington.
